Death in Ancient Mesopotamia (According to Old Texts of Late 2nd and Early 1st Millennia BC)(scholarly/research)

Death is the simplest truth of life. Yet it is of prime importance in learning about humankind genesis and gaining religious comfort. Taking into account this importance and lack of enough archeological data on death rituals in Mesopotamia which resembled that of Elamites, the author tries to survey and interpret burial & mourning rites, resurrection, judgment and rituals for the dead.
