Investigation of Effective Factors on Youth Interest to Vandalism Behaviors

Aim:Case study students of urban high school in Mazandaran province (school year 83- 84) In this paper we consider vandalism behavior of youths in Mazandaran province and Baba] , Sari and Behshahr cities, because of that, 380 students both girls and boys were selected through multistage cluster sampling. Method: In this study the relation between vandalism behavior of youth and some social, individual factors and socioeconomic base of parents are considered. Theoretical frame of this study is an integrative theory and the combination of social control theory and Houber social psychology theories are used .The method is survey research. Results: Questionnaire was used. The findings show that there is a meaningful relation between variables of social and individual factors and socioeconomic base of parents and vandalism behaviors of youth.
