چكيده لاتين
This article introduces a theoretical framework for understanding the Iranian peopleʹs desire for democracy. It begins with a discussion of four factors derived from the available sociological literature on theories of democracy that attempt to explain the desire for democracy. It then expounds on the methodology of R. Boudon. The article finally offers a combination approach which differentiates between contextual and push factors.
