Colour Analysis in Sohrab Sepehriʹs Poems

Color has for long reflected the spirit and beliefs of human beings. We can get acquainted with an artistʹs personality by knowing colors and their application in art-works. One such area for research is the works of Iranian poets in; which color has always had different dimensions, This article focuses on Sohrab Sepehriʹs poems. As he had .experienced writing verse and painting together, it is stimulating to see how he manipulates colours in his poems. Therefore, a chronological study of Sepehriʹs use of color in his collection of poems -- Hasht Ketab (Eight Books) has been carried out.. The -study reveals that the poet, in his mental journeys during the years, has moved from romantic and superficial emotions towards some sort of spiritual gnosis.
