The study of foreign words in French language

Throughout the time, every language has used many different ways of coining words such as derivation, compounding, and borrowing in order to meet its needs in the fields of inventions and discoveries. In this article we will examine the foreign words which have entered the French language. The main aim of this article would be the study of general procedures of borrowing in French language. This technique of words formation is away to enrich the language and to promote it. When we study different cultures we notice that many words have entered French language. In order to better understand the ways and reasons of these words entrance to French language, we will focus on the total process of borrowing. To attain this goal and to find the origin of these words from different languages, we will briefly study the history of French language. However, the initial categorization in this article will make it easier to find the borrowed words.
