THE ROLE OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN IN CULTURA PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES.

In this essay, after discussion of definitions and similarities between Industrial Design Activities and Cultural Praxis, interactions of both fields will be reviewed throughout theʹʹʹ history. In continuum, any possibilities of defining Industrial design in a Cultural Planningʹ Process will be evaluated; this essay seeks to find identification and Strategic Placement of Industrial Design Praxis in the realm of Material Culture and Cultural Development Strategies as well. At last; some suggestions will be presented for improvement of cultural strategies especially for Iran.
