The aim of this article is to introduce Sir william Jones, the famaus Englih orientalist who has publishedmany research articles On persian and sanskeit literature. sir William, besides having translated a great many books fram farsi and hindi into English , has also introduced Eastern thought to the western word. The author also attempts to show how the researches by Sir willaim Jones have cmtributed to the knowledge of mankind.
