This study examines the relationship of job satisfaction and achievement motivation with mental health and responsibility in female educational trainers of Ahvaz schools. In the present study, job satisfaction and achievement motivation are considered as predictive variables, with mental health and responsibility as criterion variables. The sample consisted of 126 female edacational trainers from 4 different districts of Ahvaz Office of Education who were selected by a stratified random sampling method. The instruments used in this research consisted of Job Descriptive Index (JDI), Ghiselliʹs Self- Description Inventory, Symptom Chechlist 90-Revised (SCL9O-R) and Responsiblity Assesment Scale, Derived from California Personality Inventory (CPI). The method of analysis is correlation, that is, the simple and multiple correlation coefficients are calculated between predictive and criterion variables. The statistical analysis of the data resulted in statistically significant simple and multiple correlation coefficients. The results of regression analysis showed that adding achievement motivation to job satisfaction, significantly increased the relationship with responsibility, but this increment did not occur in the case of mental health. Therefore, the results indicate that job satisfaction and achievement motivation are good predictors of responsibility.
