چكيده لاتين :
This article attempts to study persian poetry written in middle persian style. The author believes that the existing poems of the first nd the second century A.H. do not correspond to the prosodic rhythm, in fact they are composed in syllabic form with regular free syllables and belong to oral literature rooted in Sasanian period and has been passed on orally by different Communities from one generation to the next. Later they have taken the forms of phahiavi, oramenan and folk songs. This kind of poetry can be considered as the basis of the evolution of the Persian poetry. Folk songs are on the boarderline of syllabic poem and prosody. Folk songs are syllabic poem which gradually approach rhythm of prosody, and conform syllabic rhythm with common and accepted prosodic forms.
