چكيده لاتين :
A core-annulus model has been developed for FCC unit reactor(riser). In previous works, plug flow model has been implemented for simulation of this reactor, but experimental investigations indicate that the plug flow model can. not predict the flow characteristics correctly. In order to improve the model ʹs predictive power, the plug flow model has been promoted to the core-annulus model. Mathematical equations have been developed accourding to the cracking reactions and coke formation and a Fortran code has been developed to solve the model equations. Gas components concentration profile along the riser, temperature profile, the amount of coke deposited on the catalyst, and the axial void fraction profile have been predicted. Finally, the results are compared with those of the plug flow model.
