بررسي خط فقر و تاثير برخي سنجه هاي اقتصاد كلان بر مولفه هاي فقر در ايران (75-1358)

This study estimates the relative poverty line and five related indicators in Iran during 1980-97 using linear pattern of cost system with an eye to consumer habits and Stone Grayʹs utility function. It also makes multiple econometric surveys to assess the impacts of some macroeconomic Measuresʹ, which reflect the governmentʹs different policiesʹ on the five indicators. The results suggest that the annual average growth of relative poverty line has been 20% in urban and rural areas. Fitting the macroeconomic Measures on the five indicators also suggests that the increase of national production, the share of governmentʹs developmental expenditure in national production, and the find rate of taxes have a revers impact on poverty and the increase of inequalities in distribution of income, exchange rate margin and inflation rate have a direct impact on it. So it seems clear that ensuring a continuous and significant growth, continuing the reform in the countryʹs tax system structure, making proper changes in the composition of governmentʹs current and evelopmentald expenditure, establishing a unified exchange rate system, stabilizing the prices and establishing further economic equalities could lead to the decrease of poverty in Iran.
