بررسي ميزان بالا روي و پايين روي امواج از موج شكن هاي مسلح به بلوك هاي تتراپود

Here we use a physical model to study the wave run up and run down over a coast covered by tetra pods wave breakers. The hydraulic parameters such as significant wave height, HS, maximum wave period, TT, and number of waves and their spectra have been considered. In these experiments random waves with Jonswap spectrum and Pierson-Moskowitz have been used . In addition, a wave breaker with cross section slope of 1:1.5 had been tested. The waves have typical amplitude range of 0.6 cm to 11.8 cm with period of 6,8,10and 12 seconds and number of waves used were 500 to 1000. The results show that the rate of run up and run down for JONSWAP Spectrum is more than P-M Spectrum. Moreover the run up or down is independent of the number of waves used and the roughness and permeability of the wave breaker reduce the run up or run down.
