A Survey on Iranʹs Terms of Trade and Its Determinants

The present article attempts to test the international macro-economic variables affecting Iranʹs terms of trade. In this way, after providing the theoretical fundamentals and designing a model, the effects of inflation, exchange rate, current account deficit, industrial export share in total non-oil export, tariffs, concentration ratios of trade partners, Herfindahl index of export and import, net barter terms of trade, and income terms of trade are tested in the framework of Engel - Granger and Johanson - Juselivs cointegration analysis.
