بررسي سنگهاي فلدسپاتوييدار شمال شهر بابك بعنوان پوزولان در صنعت سيمان

INVESTIGATION ON THE FELDESPATHOIDS ROCKS IN NORTH OF SHAHR-E-BABAK AS POZZOLAN IN CEMENT INDUSTRY

The wide application of feldespathoids in different industries such as ceramic, glass, fertilizers, and aluminum production, has motivated us to carry out investigation on the volcanic feldespathoid-bearing rocks in the north - west of shahre-e-Babak (Jvazam). The results of the studies on these rocks are presented in this paper. The rocks, tertiary in age, with a surface area of Q. km r are located in south east of Urumiah-Dokhtar volcanic zone and consist of leucite, analcime and other zeolites. At first, sampling and mineralogical studies were performed, and the results were compared with the one.- of previous studies. Finally, the rocks were used as pozzolan. Results showed that the feldespathoied-bearing rocks of Shahr-e-Babak are suitable as an additive material in cement (Pozzolan) industry.
