نگرش اعضاي هيات علمي و دانشجويان مقطع كارشناسي كتابداري درباره اهداف و نحوه ارايه دروس كارورزي

This research has been conducted to survey the viewpoints of the faculty members as well as the students of governmental non-Health Universities of I( Iran about internship courses offering Library and Information Sciences program in undergraduate level . Basic questions of the survey evaluate internship courses in terms of objectives, and the way of the courses offered. The research community are all faculty members of the 8 Libraries and Information Sciences Departments throughout the country as well as all the students who have selected internship course part 4 to study. Descriptive style of research in addition to content analysis have been used in the survey using questionnaire containing 9 closed and one open questions. Findings show that the pre-defined objectives for the internship courses are highly approved by the research community but, satisfaction with the way of the courses offered is low. The findings also revealed that the 12 units of the aforementioned courses have been left upto the libraries accepting interns and to the mercy of the librarians training them. Suggestions to improvement of the situation are the final part of the research.
