Temperature Trend Evaluation and Modelling During Past Century-Case Study JASK Station

During 1893-1996, JASKʹS annual temperature increased by 0.835x0.293 C• Some of the changes that have appeared since 1950 have been affected by meteorological station displacement, measuring instrument changes, the screen cage altitude change, and so on. Evaluation of temperature trend and phases in JASK in comparison with those in North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO), Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) and sunspots number may justify about 20 percent increase in JASK annual temperature. Each factor has a differential effect on temperature in terms of lag time and influencial direction. Annual SOI and sunspots No influence JASK annual temperature by one and five year lag time, respectively The relation between JASKʹs temperature and sunspots number is positive but it is negative for the others.
