بررسي منبع كنترل و ارتباط آن با پيشرفت تحصيلي در دانشجويان پرستاري

Study of the Locus of Control and its Relationship with the Educational Progress of Students of Nursing

This correlational descriptive study is intended to determine the locus of control and its relationship with the educational progress of the students of nursing at Sabzevar School of Medical Sciences in sabzevar, Iran . 97 sophomores with known averages were selected and requested to fill out the questionnaire . Causal Dimension Scale (CDS) was used for deta collection . Pearson correlation coefficient , t-test and chi-square were utilized for data analysis . 12.4 % (12 students) were male and the rest were female . The results indicated no significant relationship between the scores of locus of control and the studentsʹ averages . Also , no difference was found to exist between the two sexes as for the type of the locus of control .
