An Investigation on the Effects of Financial Policies on Employment in Iran

This Paper tries to evaluate the effect of financial policies (taxes & Expenditure) - adopted by the government in the context of development plans and annual budges regulation - on employment using econometric models. It concludes that any one percent decrease in unemployment leads to a 0.9 percent increase in GDP. It also concludes that the permanent increse in governmentʹs expenditure in the long - term and lower taxes in the short - term can lead to a decrease in unemployment.
