چكيده لاتين :
In this st udy, the use of the FRP laminat e technique in
repairing a reinforced exte rior beam- column joint which
has been damaged by simulated seismic load , is investigated
, exp erim entally and analytically. Areversed cyclic
load was applied to the tip of the full scale exte rior beamcolnmn
spe cimen. Cyclic loading continued until the ultim
at e capacity of th e specimen was reached . Then, th e
specimen was repair ed by using CFRP laminate. The
repaired specimen was snbjec ted to cyclic loading. For
an analytical study of th e same beam-column specimen,
the finite element model was prepared. The model was
calibrated by using the result of the experiment al t est .
For th e effective ness of th e CFRP arrangement on th e
behavior of beam- column connections, five nonlinear analytical
models, with different CFRP arrangement und er
reserved cyclic loading, were st udied. The resul ts indicate
that using CFRP laminate was effectiv e in restoring
the strength, energy dissipation . Comparisons between
the capacity of th e numerical model using different arrangemen
ts of CFRP laminate , are mode.
