Investigation of Relevance of Free Float of the Companies in Tehran Stock Exchange with their Return Rate with their Rate of Return

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the relevance of free float of the accepted compaoies in Tehran stock exchange with their rate of return. The data utilized in this research are based upon data of 55 companies belween 2004 to 2006 years .In this research, we used of free float as independent variable and the stock returns as dependent variable. For the test & the research hypotheses, T-statistic and linear regression is used. The findings of this study indicate that this is a significant relationship between free tloat stocks and stock returns. This relationship varies for different level of free floats and among different industries.
