Juristic Understanding of the Verse Indhar.

The verse Indhar (2:280) indicates a social mutual treatment and refers to correction of economic behaviors. The said verse can be taken into consideration from some aspects. First; giving another chance to the indigent debtor is a moral task and a spiritual perfection which intensifies the sense of consideration of others and neglecting oneʹs own self. Secondly, it invites the poor and economically oppressed people as well as the rich and bankrupt merchants to reappear in economic currents of the society and seeks co-operation of all people in the realm of trade. And thirdly, it asks discharge from the creditor if possible and induces him not to pursue his claims and to treat them as alms given in the way of God while, in the end, invites all believers to contribute to such a virtuous action. In the present research, emphasis is put upon the second point while description of other points is not neglected.
