International Terrorism and Police RoJe in Combating against Terrorism.

Terrorism is a phenomenon which has begun in 20th century and in the third millennium, it is being performed in new and broad styles. Nowadays, its destructive effects such as economical, political, and social, have spread into all over the world. It has a lot of new dimensions such as mass-destruction, hijacking, abduction, bomb explosion, .... This paper is written by "Research Center for Social and Security Studies" of UAE. It discusses some issues such as definition and dimension of terrorism, characters of terrorists, the most important international terrorist organizations, international conventions about terrorism, and different views about it. Then it talks about the role of police in combating terrorism and also the measures that police forces can adopt against terrorists.
