Holaakou Raambod was one of clamorous figures in Pahlavi era in 1960s. He was one of high ranking members of the governmental party of Mardom. His fatherland was Taalesh district in north of Iran. Although he began his career in military, but he became prominent by entering to the National Consultative Assembly and struggled a lot to go up in power steps and finally could be introduced as secretary of state in parliamentary affairs to Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in Amuzegaar cabinet in 1977. He was among active Freemasons, a professional critic of the Amir Abbaas Hoveydaa government - in the accepted framework of monarchy- and the clamorous member of Mardom party.
