These condition cause a poor prognosis for first permanent molar and put into consideration their restoration or extraction.
This article with the aid of available references, assesses the details of the possible conditions involved in decision on restoration or extraction of first permanent molar with poor term long prognosis. In general, the ideal time for extraction is between the ages of 8.5 - 10.5 years old and from developmental aspect, beginning of the beginning root formation of second permanent molar and Cl I occlusion with mild crowding.
