Earthquake Hazard and Analysis of its Risk in build-up area (Case Study: Bostanabad Township)

Earthquake is a natural hazard. It creats loss of life and property. General)ʹ, risk of analysis being forget in seismic studies. North Tabriz Fualt runs Boostanabad Township. Therefore, it is located in the zone of earthquake hazard. This study tries to recognaize active faults, and eastimate activities of fualts. We will analyses the social risk resulted from earthquake. In this study we have used digitaly topography maps (1: SOOOO and I: 250000), geological maps (1 :250000 and I: 100000), GIS (Arc/GIS and ArclView), seismography and historical data.
