چكيده لاتين :
The added value of the agricultural products has a high share in Iranʹs GOP. It is thus necessary to identify
the comparative advantages of various products of this section. Due to the particular climate and
geographical potentials of Isfahan province in agriculture, this paper employs Balasa and Liesner indexes to
measure the revealed comparative advantages of agricultural exports in order to find out the agricultural
potentials of Isfahan province compared to other Iranian provinces and to other countries around the world.
The results attained in a period of 1999-2003 indicate that apple has the highest value of revealed
comparative advantage among other provinces of the country, Middle East and other countries of the world.
There is also comparative advantage for Isfahan Province in tobacco, frozen vegetables, garlic, honey,
apricot, almond and tomato,
