Identifying the Effectiveness Factors Upon IYNGOs and Representing a Model for Making Them Effective

This research has been designed to make the role and niche of Iranian non governmental organizations especially the youth clear, for identifying the main restraining factors of IYNGOs effectiveness; surveying their status quo and presenting courses of action in order to attain a desirable (effective) situation in the form of a proposing model. In this connection, the inquirer based on the NGOs inspectorsʹ ideas and studying the connecting literature, has chosen 8 major hindering factors among them and has formulated hypotheses plus questions based of which. The present inquiry is a survey research, of correlational type. The statistical population is comprised of all YNGOs which have received credential from IYNO" since 2001, and the number of which , has added up to 1430 formations until 21y September 2004 , whose main offices are settled all over the country provinces. From the above formations, 400 NGOs were selected as the sample according to statistical formula and stratified random sampling method. Then they received questionnaires. Consequently, after the statistical works, the pearsonʹs correlation coefficients of the research hypotheses were tested in the form of single and multivariables. Whereas some of the obtained coefficients were not significant at % 95 confidence level, to achieve a most complete statistical model, stepwise regression analysis was used. The obtained result denoted that a major portion of Iranian YNGOs effectiveness changes depended upon 6 factors of 8 chiefly intended ones, but 2 variables didnʹt have significant effect in predicting the aforesaid formations effectiveness.
