Science Diplomacy

Science and technology cooperation can playa prominent role in increasing the understanding between different nations and creating close ties among them. On the other hand , most problems we face in our world today have scientific solutions which no single country can respond them. The nongovernmental scientific associations, private companies and social networks playa great role in country relations. Therefore; the countries are in serious need for Science and technology diplomacy. Science Diplomacy defined as considering science and technology in multilateral negotiations at a national or intemationallevel. Many different organizations have developed around the world to persuade this need as result this paper surveys the measures taken at the center for science diplomacy at the American Association for the Advancement of Science and introduces a successful model for other interested countries.
