Using Integer Goal Programming and Taguchi Method for optimization of utilization of continues raw material

Optimizing usage of raw material is always one of the crucial issues for managers. Managers try to make a plan to use of raw material so that the depletion decreases and it can be used in future. In other word, usefulness wastages in next project or production is a good character to plan of using raw material. This paper aims at introducing an algorithm for optimizing the use of raw materials that are continues. Continues raw material is material exiting in gangling pieces, as cable. and its continuousness makes it possible to use in the next project or production. In this paper, an algorithm is presented by integrating integer goal programming and taguchi method. In the last part, the algorithm is used in a case study. The output of this algorithm shows that it can make some economic result in purchasing process and optimizing the usage of raw material
