چكيده لاتين :
Analysis of medicine faculty lecturers attitudes about quality of medical education and demonstrate areas that need to
quality improvement in Baqiyatallah University using World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) standards for Basic
Medical Education.
Method
We made a valid and reliable questioner for attitude analysis base on WFME outline for data collection in Basic Medical
Education Standards. Data were collected from medicine faculty lecturers society in basic and clinical category by randomize
sampling and analyzed by t-test and ANOVA in prismS software {a < 0.051. At last we obtained quality of medical education
in Baqivatallah University in each areas and sub-areas base on WFME Standards for Basic Medical Education. In attention to
basic standards and quality development levels of WFME sub-areas; results were reported in four levels:
A- Lower than Basic Standard: Obtain lower than 75% of WFME Basic Standard level.
B- Basic Standard: Obtain higher than 75% of WFME Basic Standard level.
C- Between Basic Standard and Quality Development: Obtain B level and between 50% - 75% of WFME Quality
Development Standard level.
D- Quality Development Obtain B level and higher than 75% of WFME Quality development Standard level.
Results
Our results demonstrated that areas Mission and Objectives and Academic Faculty are in level D. Areas Educational
Programme, Assessment of student, Students, Academic Faculty / Staff, Educational Resources and Governance and
Administration are in level C and areas Programme Evaluation and Continuous Renewal are in level B. Lecturers attitudes were
independent to their category, scientific degree and sexuality; exception Academic Faculty / Staff domain and Governance
and Administration area that Lecturers with assistant professor degree have significantly better attitudes.
