Communication: fundamental base of hospitals preparation in disaster

Relation& information among organs and people is the first step and primary principle in crisis planning. Deficiency in communication system especially in remedial center that originate of crisis, deficiency of possibilities in relation of material and relational technology, inadequate store of communication system that in due to incoordination performance among organ s. have impor tant effect on outcomes of crisis and multiple imposition. Materials & Methods The present survey is a descriptive study . Training hospital of Iran University con stituted the study population. Instrument of data collection is a checklist that section of communication includes 6 questions and was completed by observation and interview with different person according to case ( hospital manager, rnetron, secretary of disaster board ,...). In orde r to analyzing data, descriptive statistics like frequencies, ratios & mean percent were used by SPSS software, Results The find ings indicate that the Hasheminezhad hospital with a mean percent about (6312) and Firozgar Hospital with a mean percent about ( 3616) in arrangement earned the highest and the lowest score mean percent in planning perspective of communication. Conclusion hospitals during disasters must include disaster plan about all possible methods of communication in order to secure flexible support of vital services.The results indicate that surveyed hospitals have not all methods and was not effectiveness in respone disaster
