Integrating two models ofMulti - Criteria ABCInventory Classification

Faced with the heavy burden of dealing with a large number of items, companies must classify the items in inventory and develop effective inventory control policies for these classes. Inventory classification using ABC analysis is one of the most widely employed techniques in organizations. The purpose of ABC classification is classification models are in tow group: first group are models that assume all the criteria are positively related to the importance level of the item (Wan Lungʹs Model & Weighted Linear Optimization (RModel)). Twice group are models that assume all the criteria are positively and negatively related to the importance level of the item (Fan & Zhou Modelʹs). However Twice group resolve problem related to first group (positive related to the inventory importance level may lead to the situation where an item with a high value in an unimportant criterion but with low values in other important criteria is inappropriately classified as class A, which may not reflect the real position of this inventory item.) but twice group need a linear optimizer. In this paper we integrate Wan Lung and Fan & Zhou Modelʹs in order to resolve these problems and propose an efficient model. In proposed model we use Wan Lungʹs and Fan & Zhouʹs Models in order to obtain "good index" and "bad index" alternatively. We also compare our models with above models and Annual dollar usage (traditional model) on 47 items. Models classification results had come also.
