Considering the fact that the fundamentals of
quality management represent the bases of
organizational management and their employment
is a necessary condition under which
organizations can compete on an international
scale, familiarity with these fundamentals is a
requisite for moving toward an enhancement in
the competitiveness of the nationʹs economy. This
article studies and analyzes the crucial
foundations for the implementation of quality
management in organizations.
It introduces a model of organizational
management which is based on the pioneering
approaches to quality management and explains
its differences with the contingency approach.
Based on the proposed model. organizational
management has two essential layers: the thought
bases of management system and the supportive
factors for their implementation. By analyzing the
components of this model and mentioning some
examples of internationally successful
organizations. especially Japanese ones, this
article tries to study how these factors can be
implemented.
