The Effectiveness ofStress Inoculation Training (SIT) in DecreasingStudentʹs Anxiety

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of stress inoculation training (SIT) in decreasing studentʹs anxiety, Subjects were selected using random sampling. A total number of30 subjects were se lccted and assigned into two groups. Date were collected using Zung Anxiety scale (S.A.S) and was analyzed using t test. Result showed that stress inoculation training decrease studentʹs anxiety (p<0.01). No significant difference was observed in effectiveness of stress inoculation training in decreasing anxiety of the two sex. This method can be used by counselors and mental health professionals for helping clients.
