چكيده لاتين :
Language as the locus where the colonizer and the colonized enter into an
eternal power struggle has preoccupied dramatists for some time now. The
writers of this article discuss Brian Frielʹs play, entitled Translations, within
the discourse of post/colonialism in which the major encounter is a
linguistic one. The article further discusses Frielʹs views about language,
territory and power as reflected in the play with reference to scholars like
Edward Said and Homi K. Bhabha
