Land use analysis in sustainable urban development, case study: Sadieah town in Shiraz

In this era cities in developing countries have encountered different problems and: the increasing rate of the population growth and migration to the cities, cause the increase of burgesses and density in urban place. The leakage of convenient land for habitation, infestation people to the limited urban and town recourses, incredible and disproportionate and erratic land use, cause the unbalanced and unstable environment in these cities. So the sustainable urban and town development have faced to failed. This article try to analysis the land use pattern by GIS and RS in Sadie town to find the imbalances between the land use pattern and urban sustainable development. The results show that there are no relate between town planning and its growth in Sadie. So the city environment has felled to danger and the town substructures could not respond to people needs. The socio-environmental aftermath must be consider by urban and town managers.
