Development Potentials of Eco-tourism in Amol Township

The township of Amol encompasses several beautiful scenery and natural landscapes in relation to ecotourism attractions which some of these natural landscapes effective and important to ecotourism development include: the summit of Damavand as the roof of Iran, lay dam lake and valley, Larijan mineral water, shahan-dasht waterfall, Ab-e-ask mineral water. Esterabakoo and Amolou, Rineh hot water, multiple caves. various glaciers and finally many other spring and rivers. Despite the fact that this region with regard to its numerous abilities and diverse geographical landscapes possesses potential and actual capabilities in terms of ecotourism attraction, unfortunately much of them have not been actualized or have not been properly used. Certainly, through a comprehensive understanding and careful planning and management we can achieve a sustainable ecotourism program and prevent the environmental crises which substantially threaten the existence of humans and in fact ecosystems. Therefore, the present study was formulated to examine and explain the effects of geomorphologic infrastructures on ecotourism development and its goal is to know and identify these places and also planning for their optimal utilization. SO, regarding the importance of this matter, the present study attempts to present a quadruple strategy of ecotourism (competitive) and invasion (invasive)or SO, diversity or ST, revision or WO and defends(defensive) or WT by using the SWOT analytic model.
