چكيده لاتين :
In order to determine phenotypic diversity among them ll6 recombinant inbred lines of tomatoderived from a cross between L.
esculentumand L. pimpinellifolium wereevaluated in alpha-latticedesignwith2 replications fortwo years. Foreachreplicate, dry
weight (g), fresh weight(g), fruit length (mm), fruitwidth (mm), height (em), pH, acidity and soluble solids (g per 100 g) were
measured and the meanof data used foranalyses. Highcoefficients of variation (CVs) wererecorded in dry weight, fresh weight,
fruit lengthand fruit width. Correlation coefficients showed that dry weight, fresh weight, fruit lengthand fruit widthpositively
correlated to each other while the correlations among these traitswith height, pH, acidity and solublesolids were negative. Due
to of highheritability obtained forheight,soluble solids and fruitwidth, selection basedon thesecharacters is recommended. The
results showed a goodlevelof diversity amongrecombinant inbredlines thatcan be usedin breeding programs.
