Most importantly, Khawja was a versatile writer and a multi-dimensional scholar. During Mongol invasion of Iran, Khajaw spent five decades of his life in prison. He resisted Mongol invasion with cultural and intellectual revolution. He mastered many branches of theoretical sciences nurturing them by contributing new ideas to them. In practical sciences, he had many achievements. By entering into politics, he was able to rebuild ruined Iranian lands scientifically and culturally. He went so far that he made Iran the cradle of science and knowledge. By attracting the distinguished scholars of his time, he could bring about a connection between brains who had escaped Iran and new Iranian generation in Maragha University, paving the ground for the florescence of philosophy and medicine. All of his theoretical and practical contributions are indebted to the connection made by him between theoretical and practical reason.
