چكيده لاتين :
Understanding the behavior of concrete at very high strain rates is of critical imp or tanceill a range of applica
tions . Under highly dynami c conditions , the strainrate dependence of material response causes the material
behavior to be significantly different from what is observed underquasistatic conditions . The behavior of
concrete atstrain rates are studied exper imentally. This experimental investigation uses explosive pressure range
of loading rate. Experiments indicate that the loadcarrying ca pacity of the concrete increases signifi cantly
with strain rate. The dynamic increase factor for tensile strength of concrete at a strain rates between 665-1 to
80s-1 is approximately 4.5 to 6 respectively. The yield criterion in these tests is crack in tension zone. The results
of expe riments indicate good agreements with ot hers researcher s. At last by help of DOE Met hod a semi
expe rimental model for behavior prediction of concert under blast loading is introd uced .
