Divine knowledge in transcendental theosophy

In its particular sense, theology is so important that one can call it as the final end of Islamic philosophy. Divine attributes in general and Divine knowledge and its stages in particular constitute the most difficult part of theology. Given certain considerations Muslim theologians have either avoided discussing certain parts of Divine knowledge or considered it very briefly. Having an analytical approach, the present article seeks to prove from the perspective of Sadri an school of thought that necessary being has essential knowledge both about Himself as well as other things just as He has actual knowledge about possible things. It also deals with material things being present before God either as an existential stage or in intellectual forms as material beings being essentially dispersed are unable to be present before God. The author also touches different stages of Godʹs knowledge of material things winding up his discussion by shedding light on different perspectives concerning Divine knowledge and criticizing them
