A Study of the Relationship between Creativity and locus of control among Skilled athletes

The purpose of this Study is to examine the relationship between Creativity and Locus of Control among Skiled male Athletes. A Sample including 112 Athletes, were randomly Chosen in the first class clupAthletes and the fixed members ofthe Sport-terns in Isfahan. Data were Collected using Creativity Test and Locus of control Test and Demographic Questionnaire. The results of the multivariate analysis and Correlation indicted that there was Significant difference between the athletes from track and field events and the wrastling had the highest and the lowest creativity level, respectively, also the whole athletes have internal locus of controls. There is a meaningful correlation between locus of control and the creativity in the individual and group fields of sports and open and closed skills at the level of p < 0.05. There is a correlation between locus of control and its dimensions in the individual and the group fields at the level of p < 0.05 and no differences detected considering the open and closed skills. There is a meaningful correlation between the creativity and its dimensions in the individual and the group fields and in the open and closed skills at the level ofp < 0.05. There is a meaningful correlation between the creativity and locus of control and their dimensions according to the athletesʹ attitudes (the fields of sport and the gained positions) at the level ofp < 0.05
