چكيده لاتين :
This study was carried out to evaluate the agronomic traits of nine genotypes of flax (Linum
usitatissimum L.) at twospring planting dates of 16March and 28 April in years 0[2003 and 2004.
Theexperiments were separately conducted at Research Farm of Isfahan University of Technology
by using a randomized complete block design with three replications. The effects of genotype,
planting date and yearwere significant onmost of thestudied trails. (0 average. therange of days to
maturity, plant height, seedyield per plant, seed yield and seedoil content for the genotypes were
102J ʹ0108.8 dayʹ, J2,87 to 60.75 ʹ10, 0.6210 \.11 g, 1245 to 2598kg ho-I andJU8 to J5J4%,
respectively. The lowest mean of plant height along with the highest mean seedyield per plant as
well as the highest seedyield in either year(2985 and 2211 Kgha", respectively) were observed for
Kordestan landrace. Late planting significantly increased the number of seedlings per ml while
decreasing the mean for other traits including maturity, yield per plant, seed yield, and seed oil
content. In average, seedyield perplantand seed yield forthe firstand second planting dateswere
0.91 and 0.58g, and 1622 and 1450 kg ha· l
, respectively. The signifieant interaction between
genotypes and planting dates for seed oi] content wasdue to increasing seedoil content in SPI066
genotype and its reduction in the other genotypes in the second planting date. The significant
interaction between year and genotype for seed yield showed that seed yield in 2004 was
significantly lower than that in 2003 for all genotypes, except for CDC1747. The results of
regression analysis and correlatiou coefficients showed that the number of capsules per plant and
number of seeds percapsule were themost important yield components of seed yield perplant
