چكيده لاتين :
Drought is the mOSI imparl ant limiting factor tor plant growth and crop production. In
this stud), resistance of 2 olive cuhivars including Mahali Baghrnalek and Zard to the
drought wa-, investigated h) using different irrigation treatment (I,: watering when 0-3%
of the plants available water was used. I,: watering \1 hen 33-66 % of the plants available
water lias used. I,: watering when 66-100 % of the plants available water lias used),
three potassium levels ((), 50 and 100 g potassium sulphate tillʹ each plant at planting time
in pot ).1 he experiment was carried out in a completely randomized design with factorial
arrangements with lour replications. Measured parameters included crop water potential,
leaf relative water content and accumulation N, Iʹ and K clements in leaf and root. The
rcsuh-. showed that crop water potential in cv. Mahali l3aghmalek was lower than cv.
Lard, hut its relative water content was higher. In both cuhivars, water potential and
rclat i\ cʹ II ater content II ere reduced with decreasing of irrigation. The best Rwe and
water potential lias related to I 1 water treatment As well as N, Iʹ and K clements in leaf
were 100Ier in I, treatment. Usc of potassium led to the increase of the relative water
content and decrease of the plant water potential. The best RWe and the lowest water
potential were related to K, potassium treatment (100 g potassium sulphate). Potassium
tcrtili/ation led to increasing potassium of the root and leaves in each cultivar, but did
not shm\ significant effect on Nand P in the tealʹand root.
