Aflatoxins, are secondary metabolites fungal products with carcinogen ic and terato genic effe ct especially with
the effect on p 53 suppressor gene. From these groups of toxins, Aflato xin BI is produc ed from some species of
Aspergillus (Asp erg illus jlavous and .1. parasiticusy can contaminate animal feed, hydrolyzed and changed to the
aflatoxin M1 and transmit to the milk consumers. In one year seasonal survey, 319 randoml y sele cted raw milk
samples which obtained from dairy farms and milk collecting centers from IS dairy plants were analyzed with
validated imrnunoaffiniry HPLC method . 54% of samples arc contaminated with mean 0.0564 ug/Kg and median
0.0170 ug/Kg with SD=0.1368 and Variance = 0.0187, more than 44% of samples are below 0.01 ug/Kg and 77%
of samples are below 0.05 uglKg . Based on the statistical analysis , the level of the contamination in dairy farms and
milk collecting centers were similar. The level of contamination could be directly influenced on the season and the
factory place param eters. The kind of the dairy farm and milk colle cting centers are indirectly contributed on the
level of contamination with bilateral effect with seasonal variation
