The purpose of rhis study was to compare the effecr ofpsychosocial stressors on
mental health in athlete and non-athlete students. 77 athletes and 228 non-athletes
were selected by sraged random sampling. The student stressors questionnaire (SSQ)
and symptom checklist -25 (SCI-25) were used to test the proposed hypotheses The
