چكيده لاتين :
lu a taxonom ic revision of the ge nus Papav er in Iran for the prepara tion of the trea tment of Flora of Iran, Papaver
dubium sub sp . eros um var. album is descr ibed as a new variety. It differs from the typica l varie ty by havin g white
pet als. Papaver dubium subsp . erosum var. maculatum is ano the r new variety that di ffers from the typica l variety by
having black spo ts at the base of petals. P. decais nei var. setosum and va r. patulum from the sect. Papaver are
described as new varie ties from C, S, and NE of Iran. They are dis tingu ished from the typical variety by having
appressed or sprea ding se ta on the pedice ls respe ct ively. Papaver dub ium subsp. glabrum is recorded here from Iran
(Karaj and Khorassan province) fo r the first time. For these tax a, morphologi cal cha racters, identification key and
distribution map s are a lso prese nted
