Almost all Muslim historian and exegetists, whether Shiite or sunni, have announced event of Mobahele, but there are some differences among these narrations. The major source of these differences is related to chronology of this verse. So, this paper, first, proves that mentioned verse was revealed with other verses of surah Al-i-imran in the year 3 A.H, but it is not possible for household of the prophet (p.b.u.h) at the same time. Then more studies conclude that well-known transmission couldnʹt be the cause of the revelation of this verse, but later this event was coincided with it. Also, this article presents Sunnite scholarsʹs approaches to Mobahele, in brief, then criticizes viewpoints of two famous exegetist of them that deny this event.
