Identification of 10 Most Important Iranian Ring- porous Wood Species Using Lens

Definitely, Identification of wood with gross structure is very complicated. In This research the identification method of ten species (Quercus castaneifolia- Ulmus glabra- Zelkova carpinifolia - Ulmus campestris- Celtis austral is- Gleditschia caspica- Mours alba- Robinia pesudoacasia- Fraxinus excelsior- Albzzia julibrissin) of Iranian northern forest (Hyrcanian) timber with cross section characteristic and via help of lens have been evaluated. The species which were similar have been located in same group and minor differentiations between them have been searched. All species were ringporous wood and divided 4 grouped. Apart from color and texture, latewood vessels group, tyloses in springwood, distinct and indistinct of rays and ulmiform are four characteristic which are important in identification of Iranian ring-porous wood
