Differences in Blood Money Value and Their effect on Qisas

The Islamic criminal law has envisaged a few articles conditioned upon the payment of blood money in qisas cases. Islamic jurists have not fully accounted for this issue. Neither is there any reference to it in foreign laws and legal documents, It is, therefore, difficult to explain "blood money" in the light of the related literature. Islamic lawyers are responsible for clarifying the ambiguities in this aspect of qisas. Two major issues have been dealt with in two other papers by this author. The present paper discusses some intricacies and common legal gaps in the issue of "blood money" in qisas.
